My son is into that and posts videos like that all  the time.  The waving effect is more a product of the stroboscopic effect of the frame rate than anything else.  When you watch them in person, they're just shaking and pulsating.  We broke a lot of things on his old van with a system we built.

The van was a blast.  We had four 18's on a 3kw amp.  He ripped the roof off the braces and cracked several sheet metal panels with it.  There's a lot badder stuff out there but it was a fun project for the two of us.  He learned a lot during the process.

iPhones have a bug (feature) that produces videos like this.  Look up the videos where they put a phone inside of a guitar.  Pretty wild.
