"Richard, I purchased these in 2008 and upgraded the tweeters and crossovers soon after. I had read about the Crites revisions on the Klipsch discussion board. None of the drivers have issues. I've never driven them to the clipping point. The grilles are a little wobbly, and need the velcro tabs re-adhered. Cabinet finish is faded, but there is minimal scratching.
