Mallette
Not this topic, the speaker. At an old friend's house and he'd acquired a pair of Klipsch Tangent. Sort of a mini-Heresy. First I'd heard of them. What's the story? Dave

jjptkd
There was just a thread about the larger Tangent series, I believe were designed as budget speakers for those serving in the military? The Tangent 10 looks like it more closely resembles the KG-2 than a Heresy.
JRH
There were three series of Tangent: T10, T100, T1000 for example. All were built primarily as economy models for the military. I would attach brochures, but the site is not accepting attachments, at least from me. While the first series was Kg-based, the T400 (and T4000) was Heresy-esque. The T5000 was Forte-esque.
Blu Azure
JRH is right, Tangents were built to be sold at military PXs (Base Exchanges). I remember a Klipsch rep at the time telling me that they were specifically designed to "play real loud, and not break".
grindstone
For posterity, just tripped over one more while this thread was up.
Marvel
The T400 has the exact parts as a Heresy II, included the crossover board inside saying Heresy II. Always thought I would build a nice BB Tangent cabinet and move my HII parts over. It would raise the tweeters up and give me more bass.
