jwc Posted May 30, 2018 Share Posted May 30, 2018 Remove amplifier board, OEM power supply caps, Install replacement hardware, IC socket, op-amp, tie-wrap leads Install power supply by-pass caps Check/measure/adjust CMR, output bias, Measure output stage temp @ full power, RL=8 Ohm, 20min cont. operation Check IOC for LED flicker at distortion threshold Check 20kHz HF compensation Measure %THD, FFT 1k, 10kHz So there was an Overhaul.
