staygroovybaby
Some years back before personal computers became popular, & we got our news from the television, radio and newspapers, it was at this time I choose to listen to music rather than watch, hear, or read the news. I would listen to vinyl when not working. I'm talking back in the 1970s. I choose this because, music was my escape at the end of the day. Its not that I did not hear of the worlds problems and current events, its just I choose music as my get away from the crazy world we were living in. Now all these years later, the artist I used to listen to, hours on end are passing on. It has come to the point when I hear music from the passed on artist my pleasure from the past has become sad to the point of tears. It honestly makes me not want to listen anymore. But wait a moment, we still have the BEEBS and alike. To Mr Lake and all the others gone his way, from the bottom of my heart I hope God is blessing you all. As for the rest of us, give someone a big hug and kiss and let them know how much you love them.

Mr. Lake MKP :-) Strange indeed. yesterday my wife & I were returning home from working out of town. It was a 10 hour drive. We listened to about 6 hours of ELP music. And wake up this morning to this.

Don Richard
Sad news. I saw ELP in the mid 70s on their Brain Salad Surgery tour. They had a JBL quad PA and it was truly a mind blowing experience, the best concert I heard up to that point. RIP..
