For corner placement, the very back panel is where I think I would prefer them.  There would be no interference with the wall in that location, especially if one wanted to add 5-way binding posts (along with associated banana plugs on speaker wires). Take a look at the photo showing where HPower located them.

Ah makes sense now.  That would also be a good place. I only had one photo of their backs so maybe the photo I had are not true klipsch as well? This is why I leaned on the side mounts since it's back had slots.

But then when you look at the new ones they are solid. Hmmm.

The way I'd describe it is the 'corner' on the inside of the box.  You can follow the path of the sound from the motor boards

So now there is just 1 board that separates the 2 sides of the horn path that is now covered by a full back plate? Or are there still 2 but covered by the back plate?

Uh oh....  someone is going to have a sore back come Monday morning...

Hopefully you can provide pictures of your process!

I'm stocked up on Ibuprofen. Pics are very possible, as long as I don't struggle and look like a fool...

The Jubilee bass bin is a very smart design.

Yeah, who designed that again?

Some bonehead, but since then he's now called Chief Bonehead.

Just to keep my history in order I was under the impression one of PWK's last work was the Jubilee, hence the Jube bass bin? And then Chief contributed the 402? Keep me straight here ---

Here is the story Mikebse2a3 got the info from Roy, much better than me trying to remember.
