Don Richard
I inch drivers and horns can have better polar responses by reducing beaming at high frequencies. Most of the Danley synergy horn products use I inch. Danley likes the B&C DE-250, IIRC

He used to use the B&C DE-25 (16 ohms) in the original (now defunct Sound Physics Labs) TD-1's and the BMS 4550 in the TD-2's which are rare since he left the company to form Danley Sound labs before those were released by his former employer. I have bought/sold 20 TD-1's manufactured over 3 different years, and they all have the B&C, but they were manufactured 13 years ago. Under any listening conditions, they all sound similar, IMHO, but I'm sure they measure a bit different.
