Any Motorcycle race fans here? :emotion-25:

Guy Martin returning to the TT in 2017.

Guy in 2015

Dunlop and Martin

(Edit) - Since The Isle of Man isn't one very many people get to go to, I added / Motorcycle Races to the thread title so that any other races, riders, tracks, clubs, stories can be shared.

I wonder how they ride with balls the size of basketballs

Even during my best years, I could never ride like that.

Imagine Rossi racing the TT? Don't think Yamaha would like that.

Not sure how well Rossi would do. I'd say that he is just enjoying the women and money. Why go there? Back in the day, Fogarty set records there. I figured Bayliss would have gave it a go.

IOM is one of those strange race tracks. Joey Dunlop did very well into his late 40's, and at the same time, younger riders don't neccesarily do well.

Like Tour de France, when you have the strength you don't have the smarts, and when you have the smarts, you need the illegal dope.

But since there is a motorcycle instead of a bicycle, you don't need the dope.

Cool.

Srinath.

Rossi is Way Too smart, and old,  to race the Isle. He is and has been the Golden Boy in GP;  he ain't gonna risk his life to prove anything on the island.

Agreed, and I would too.

Road Atlanta was a lot of fun. Went there when the Haydens were all racing. Remember Anthony Gobert's Go Show was on a good high there B)

Great looking bike.

Had one too and as much as I like(d) sport bikes it was too much for me. Bought a perfect, low mileage unit and sold it the same.

One of the few "production" sport bikes that was a real race bike in disguise.

I haven't been to either. Why aren't you doing the Springfield race?

They are scheduled to do a flat track race here at the Red Mile.

Springfield is a Loooong way from Gainesville.

If you have the chance to go see a Mile - DO IT.
