Yes, not the best condition for sure but opening bid was only $200. Drivers alone are probably worth $400+ if all are working and in good shape.

I've got average price for C2's at $529.  There are 5 distinct bidders and 24 hours left.  It will be interesting to see how the bidding goes.

I like your $400 number.  Anybody want to weigh in on the over/under?

I'm going Under, but barely.

Sure, I'm watching just to see what kind of crazy price they go for.

Crazy high or crazy low?

What is your bet on the $400 over/under?

We all know the drivers have to be in good working condition before we have anything worth money.  Here is what the seller posted:

Tested- one sounds great
The one with the rip works but doesn't have that great sound. Maybe if the ripped woofer is replaced it'll sound better but each individual speaker in the cabinet  has power to it but it's a little muffled

Tested one???

As far as worth, to me, they're bumping the upper limit because of their condition. Because thy are black, they won't take a lot to mask the neglect / abuse.

Might even come with a tire mark on the side.
Trying to remember the past. About 10-11 years ago (wow that long ago??) I sold my one owner (1st Klipsch ever) Chorus IIs below in great, nay, excellent shape for $800 I think but the owner paid UPS to box and ship from GA to WA. The glue holding one riser corner dis-bonded in transit.

The below Forte II went for $400

I'll take that bet on the condition that the money has to be exchanged in person.

Let me google "Lexington, KY" and get back to you!

I'll collect my dollar next time I'm out there...you're good for it. :D

The bid is up to $300, just over 4 hours to go.  Bidding ends at 3:17 this afternoon.

Despite the number of bidders, they are attacking each other $3 at a time which tells me these are bargain hunters.  Given the poor finish, damaged and blown drivers I doubt anyone wanting speakers for their living room would swoop in at the last minute and grab these at fair market value.

I'm sticking with the under, for a buck.
