Making a Rubber Plinth

Rick, I have not glued the pieces together for two reasons:

1.  There is no movement because of the weight of the rubber

but more importantly

2.  Glue is permanent and since this is an experiment, I don't want to preclude doing sandwiching, layering etc.

I laid out $100 for some rubber so I'm in no hurry to reach any conclusions and end up feeling I wasted my money, time and thought.  Now $100 is not much in audio terms, but if you start to add up all the various experimentation, and churning I've done since getting into this hobby, you'll understand why I'm in no hurry to exhaust the fun from this project.

Let the journey continue...
