codewritinfool
http://www.ebay.com/itm/112307145997?ul_noapp=true The buy it now price *was* $1000. Free shipping. I dunno what is going on here. They look like they're sitting in front of a storage unit. They're not far from me, but why didn't the first bidder just pay the $1000? Free shipping too. Either an amazing deal or they're going to get destroyed in shipping.
codewritinfool
Whoa. The exact same speakers are listed in another listing with a buy it now of $2000. http://www.ebay.com/itm/112307144800?ul_noapp=true $2000 for the pair is a good deal - I wonder how the owner of this listing would handle the bidders on the other listing if somebody bought them. Weird.
Seadog
If those were $1000 buy it now, the first bidder must have brain damage not to grab them. But being offered on two listings is not good.
Khornukopia
Those are fraud ads. I KNOW that the speakers in those pictures are not for sale. Please report those ads to EBay.

Khornukopia
A person using similar tactics has plagued eBay in the past by copying pictures from ads over the years, then re-listing unique speakers, amps, guitars, motorcyles and other attractive items with Buy It Now. So if you see ads like this where the ad says contact seller through e-mail for payment info, it should be reported to eBay. On the right side of the eBay ad page, at the top of the description box, click on REPORT ITEM, and select from the drop menus "Listing practices" then "Offer to buy or sell outside eBay" then "Listing states a buyer can purchase the item outside of eBay". Khornukopia
I am 100% positive these are fraudulent eBay ads. These pictures are of my speakers, they are not for sale and the pictures are copied from the 04/05/2010 eBay ad that I bid on and won. Please report these current ads to eBay as fraudulent. I already have, but more reports are better.Thank you

codewritinfool
You guys are awesome. We need a wood grain fingerprint database for speakers so we can spot these things in a heartbeat.
Khornukopia
Thanks to everyone who reported the ad. The last time that fraudulent ad was used, he re-listed several times. The fraudulent seller was also hacking into other eBay seller store accounts with good eBay scores to make the listings look legitimate. He was doing this with hundreds of various attractive items at low buy it now prices to hook unsuspecting buyers. People need to report every bogus ad.
