Everybody will have opinions on wires.  Best thing is to start with a high quality zip cord.  Oxygen free, suggest 12-14 gauge.  If you like it, you are done.  You can move up from there.

I would also suggest using a good quality cable to replace the straps between the tweeter and woofers.  The same good zip cord/speaker wire may be to your liking.

 

Bottom line with wires, they will all sound different.  Once you find one that sounds good enough, stop, or you can go broke for no gain.

 

Bi-wire setups can help modify the frequency response of the speaker but that is something you will have to decide.  Cost vs. reward.
