Not that it is of much interest here in the Vinyl thread but I have 4 different releases of this on CD.  They were all supposedly "different sounding."    Don't have the vinyl though... go figure.

Could you tell the difference?

Sorry I didn't reply sooner... I'm offline a lot this month.

Yes, 2 versions sounded the same to me (I wasn't listening critically though) and a 3rd was obviously different to my ears.  I'll have to see if I made notes because I do not remember which was which.

Have a day off

Watching day one of the Perth Cricket Ashes Test ( for my US forum mates the game can take up to 5 days to finish )

And started spinning a trio of recently acquired Marillion LPs ( from Mike )

This album is Marillion’s turning point and the bands great accomplishment- easy flowing album and great in its entirety

Artist - Marillion

Title - Misplaced Childhood

Next up is the album that was released a year before Misplaced Childhood In the above post

This album overall has a somewhat heavier beat - and has incredible pinpoint accuracy ( musically speaking)

Artist - Marillion

Title - Fugazi

Playing the last of the Marillion trio of albums and as a release time it comes after Misplaced Childhood

This album is considered by most pundits, as Marillion’s masterpiece or opus

It’s also the last album that frontman Fish was involved in

A brilliant album that any prog lover will enjoy listening to

Artist - Marillion

Title - Clutching At Straws

Moving on to some new age prog with a medieval flavour

A very relaxing album to sit and listen to - Similar to Camel Snow Goose and hints of Rick Wakeman- also this record pressing has great SQ

Artist - Mannheim Steamroller

Title - Fresh Aire II
