Vinyl - Record Spinning

Full Range

Recommended Posts

We went from winter to summer in about a week. Spent this morning getting the pontoon boat ready to go in the lake tomorrow. Seems like the job takes longer with every passing year.

Cooling off, sipping some Woodford Reserve, listening to Steely Dan's Katy Lied. It's my least played Steely Dan album. Not sure why.

Great body of work...just the tip...

You are so right about that!! Google him and see all the things said about him by "superstars" after he passed a couple years ago. "Tightrope" was the first I heard of him!

Only saw him one time, it was local at The Moon in Tally, me and another big fan, the oyster champ. His 2 daughters were playing with him.

It was around 2005...went backstage and spoke with his daughters. Beautiful and talented young ladies.

He played with everyone from Clapton to Harrison, as you know. It was great watching him play the piano to Hummingbird, etc...

Like Carney lp and with Marc Benno, and just remembered bud has a bunch of lp's of his...

Welp, just realizing page 200...Had considered doing this later but been on my mind lately.

Saw Seger more than once I can attest to. Have shown, maybe all my early copies on lp.

Have had all up to around 80 then tapered off. This band with Teagarden and Van Winkle

saw at Campbell Stadium in Tally. A good collaboration I say. Some songs appeared on

the famous Silver Bullet Band...live as you know:

Time to spin some Australian Blues

This Artist was born in Brisbane so a local boy for QLD but moved to Western Australia in his  mid 20s (1975/76)

This album is a walk back in time - it’s unique and a beautifully put together but unique blues that only this artist plays

His most famous song is - I remember when I was young

Artist - Matt Taylor

Title - Straight As A Die

Next up on my playlist roster is the first of my Magna Carta collection

However the collection is a handful of LPs

This album is a live in concert release of infinite beauty

You could say the style is folk with prog leanings

Artist - Magna Carta

Title - In Concert

Next LP is a studio album

I would class this album a folk genre with a haunting tone

Artist - Magna Carta

Title - Times Of Change

My copy is a re issue on the Fontana label
