I know at least one person here will recognize this sleeve, he is responsible for me seeking out this LP that's jazzy & funky with impeccable percussion!

You know

No such place called Woop Woop exists

It’s a fictional place we use in general conversation. -  meaning a far away place somewhere in the Bush

Or if someone was to ask me where John lived I could answer out Woop Woop 🙌

Never heard of whoop whoop, and I never imagined who or what made that eerie fantastic Exorcist music.

Remembered something like that was one musician playing all, putting the tracks together, thanks for the links @Full Range

Those kids make no connection to it in that old video but anyone that was at least ten back then knows.

That song is inextricably linked to Linda Blair projectile puking green pea soup, killing priests and twisting her head all the way around.

Also to the "Elephant Killer" bowl that put us in the right frame of mind while that was going through the Advents.

Very Nice there Paul, sure that Close to the Edge will be a better pressing that that Friday brand we had the identical problem with!

And the Rush ahhhh yep they went more towards keyboards and stuff I just didn't enjoy as much when the 80s came around.

I've got several since then, they just don't get as much play.

What happens when you have the "awakening?"  lol  If you are anything like me, when that happens, it's non-stop for about two-weeks.  lololol

I turn it UP!!

Wakeman is Wakeman!

Did not mean to disparage the black and whites.

Should have said that - into the 80s Rush as The Preeminent Band on the Face of this Earth forged ahead with their musical composition!

Pffft

They changed, talented bands change. The musical composition changed:

The trouble with the maples
And they're quite convinced they're right
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light
But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade?

&

Just between us
I think it's time for us to recognize
The differences we sometimes feared to show
Just between us
I think it's time for us to realize
The spaces in between
Leave room
For you and I to grow

to

Subdivisions
In the high school halls
In the shopping malls
Conform or be cast out
Subdivisions
In the basement bars
In the backs of cars
Be cool or be cast out

I've got the last album, like it listened to it in that era where cars turned from thunderous steel sculptures just gliding into the sunset to ugly stinky egg fart aluminum boxes with cheap interiors. Ever note how you can tell if a movie was made in the 80s by the nappy soundtrack, kinda like that too!

I'll take Hemispheres and the `73 Dodge Charger RT thank you!
