Vinyl - Record Spinning

Full Range

Recommended Posts

Been a busy boy the past week.  Have quite the pile to shoot and share though.  New tweets are sounding absolutely fantastic as is everything else in these two 37- yr - old raw birch boxes complete with the dog house sitting here!  Ugh, just got a pic of a pile and now it won't load to Google so I can share it.  Suffer!  Gonna be a stress free nite for me...  lol  Mr Tech Saavy w/another epic fail !  Soon though  :)

Hey Mike. I'd believe that most anything would sound better on La Scalas!!

Did you get that tweeter issue resolved?

Yes I did... Bought a pair of gently used pair ... Of crites ct 125 from tigerman... Over a month ago..

But now I need to recap the aa's

Retube the cj pv-7 and replace the power cord...

Those CT-125s sound pretty good don't they?

Hard to tell.. Running the st-70 series 11.. With the rolled off highs...

and needing a recap... But it does have some nice low end...

but it is not as focused as it should be.... And a lot of recordings flat out suck !

And I'm hanging my head against the wall...

@ClaudeJ1 or @jimjimbo could help you relieve that head banging I'd bet. They work with this kind of thing a lot!

All I know is those machined aluminum tweeter horns are pretty!

I have 3 pairs of k-77's.... 2-square and 1 round alnico.... All need replacement diaphragm...

But I do have I pair of diaphragm

Not sure if the 125's are machined..

I thought they were mold injected...

This guy was off the charts back in the 70s. The only lp of him I have left is this different one, more polished, complex than Rocky Mtn Way.

Joe just rolls with sooo many things...  They just pop into his head, he says...  lol

Trying to alphabetize and get this vinyl organized.  So much fun sitting back doing it while listening.  Friend stopped the other day and couldn't believe what he was hearing.  Sooo, we'll see if he can get away from his wife for an afternoon sometime.  lolol
