In my favorite music decade again @dirtmudd!

Well almost with the live Dead.... getting ready for the G.O.T. Starks to get theirs this last season?

Does the quadrophonic pressing sound unique at all on a stereo cart? Or did you find something that plays quadrophonic.... that's got to be a rarity there.

A real character got taken down today.

A c*^p d'état got officially destroyed over the weekend!

G' Day mates !!

Hope the weather is better today down under @Full Range !

Seen them live a couple of times in the mid 70s - before they got famous

We ( a couple of mates and I ) traveled an hours drive to Sydney for the gig

Did the same thing for the Alice Cooper open air concert but that’s another story

The early AC / DC band had different members

I can’t remember what lineup I saw

Im pretty sure they played it on one of the gigs

@JohnJ  - Some homework - are you familiar with the Aussie band called Skyhooks

They were also fantastic and were big here at the same time as AC/ DC

Nope, new to me...

Found`em.

Glam Overdose?

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert?

"Livin in the 70s" "All my Friends are Getting Married" "Women in Uniform" "Saturday Night"

Kinda funny and pretty good, just having fun.

Something new is always good, thanks!

Found out that Billy Thorpe passed years ago.

Grabbed this off the shelf... there were only 500 L.P.s made by the college band from Notre Dame. Recorded in 1969 at Golden Voice Studio in South Pekin, Ill. Folks from all over the midwest recorded there. What's the big deal with this record? One of the band members was/is Andy Wallace... they still get together and play every year. Andy is definitely still in the music business.

Styx did one of their albums there, as well as Dan Fogleberg (he was from the area, too) as well as others. Jerry Milam, the studio builder and owner was well regarded, Chet Atkins even sent some folk his way.

It was a nice studio at the time. They moved on up to 2 inch 16-track machines, but the building was destroyed by a local arsonist and some of the tapes stored there got wasted.
