I have a treat for King Crimson fans

Just arrived today in the post one day earlier than expected

This is a bootleg LP with a track that is unreleased &  I wanted to have it for that reason

The track is Dr D and also the LP Title

So happy that a fellow member Mike. @dirtmudd that gave me a heads up on one available in Australia

Thank you Plastic Passion Records in WA 🤟

This is a live album called Dr D primarily recorded in Atlanta - 23rd June 1973

Just playing the album now and loving it as it’s not a studio album I have noticed some wonderful nuances with some improv

That was a Thorens TD 147 ( same as a TD 160 super with auto lift at records end )

I need to get a restart of the new plinth for it - but work commitments are keeping me form that job

An album first released in 1970

The last album from this band and probably the best

When released the band had essentially disbanded

Apparently- Future Blues’ May have been the first album to show ecological concern.

The inside cover was of the band in a redwood forest and it called for the saving of the redwoods. The track “So Sad” would cover as well the ecological topic.

A fantastic album with some memorable tracks

Been almost 2 years since posted this superb album. Only have 4 of their lp's...

Of course the band reunited later on. They had a new promo album that is really something around 80,81...

Saw them in Lakeland outdoor fest and a smaller venue in the Longbranch Saloon in Tally. Lead singer looked like a

much smaller version of Bob(the bear) Hite. Really super dooper show. Thanks, and still looking local for a Hooker&Heat...

From my first rejection of top40 and love of terrible Ted, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and the "Electric Lunch" hippie-rock on 95Q.......

The only band that made symphonic rock work for me besides Pink Floyd was the Who... especially Quadrophenia !

Okies gentlemen...  Thoughts on a turntable stand so I can get this Linn off the wall rack???  Paul???  Looks rock solid and thinking some cones on the bottom and possibly iso pads under the plinth...  This thing looks heavy duty and is going up for auction 75 miles away in Columbus...  Road trip or no???
