Used sorbothane to isolate vibrations from fans and 10,000 RPM WD Raptor hard drives in my pc years ago. The stuff feels funny and works very well.

Feels kinda squishy

I have 4 round pads under my preamp

Squishier than that synthetic booger stuff that things are stuck together with now-a-days but not sticky like that.

That stuff was holding two pounds of apple wood smoked bacon together that I bought last week.

Switching gears:

The cover is long gone, so long that I found a plain cardboard cover and a sleeve for it....

`cause the vinyl is still so nice...geeze I was 13 when I got this one!

Wow, I can see scratches in the picture from my phone that I cannot see looking down on the LP!!

Glad they don't make any noise during playback!

From the looks of that one you might want to hit it w/a lil shot of WD-40 from the looks of things.   lol   Play it much?  hahahaha  Great LP!!!  :)

Ummmmmmmmm NO!  Looked a lil worn soooo it would prolly track a bit smoother w/the oil on it.  haahaha  Don't EVEN think about it!  lololol

Gonna go with the Sorbothane since it's made in Kent, Ohio.  Gonna turn on my charm tomorrow w/the receptionist AFTER I tell her I'm a bit whacked out!  4 blobs outta do it but 200# is a lot of weight so it's now about thickness.  That's their job...  Any color preferance?  Maybe a pink or purple?  lol

I've never put chemical anything on my LPs, that's why it sounded wierd!

D3 Discwasher stuff years ago was it, heck I've gotten rid of some that an electric cleaner might have fixed in the last year... if they can fix surface noise that is.

Permanent Waves is officially retired tonight, sentiment won't get it put under the MC. Not sure how it made it back into the cabinet except for sentiment.

The "other side" of Hemispheres is magnificent no matter the volume!

I've got 53 & 66.

86 would blow your freakin' mind on LaScalas and upwards of them she can seamlessly meld her voice into the instruments playing.

Had that record played for me on a set of ugly but hardly used thirty year old LS a year ago. Alas I had no way of getting them out of that home on a cliff by the lake with the spiral staircase leading to the drive..... I would have overpaid him the three hundred more than I could justify that he wanted darnit!
