That's from about the time he was in that wreck near here. Dang never had I felt so bad for somebody that I did not know. I was ten and it was on the nightly news, in the paper constantly for a long time because he couldn't leave the hospital here. Good Funk.

yea man.

They do a good cover, but you can hear the genius in the original.

Much better now even on my pc than on the transistor radios that everyone had back then that you had to protect from the splashing and the sand!

Moved on to a different step:

Apologies to Jimmie V.

This LP deserves an entire listen... if the one tune is acceptable to you.

These guys were not molded, they didn't fit into anyones idea of something. Original, Heavy, quiet, melodic... good God they put on a good show back then!

@Full Range  I was out clubbing in the early 80 so I have heard "real" dance music just don't dig Gloria Gainor or Markie Mark from a decade later all that much.

Remember that Ballroom Dancing movie and if you can do that hats off to ya!

I'd just get inebriated and move or shuffle a little. No interest in all that except...

I was on the hunt!

Hear we go ladies and gentlemen

Thought to post a few photos of my ballroom dancing LP record collection

Let me say that there is nothing better than actually holding your partner in ones arms and dancing in unison

I often use some of these records as sound test records because they are pitch perfect and time / tempo perfect

Next time I may be tempted to post my Mrs Mills collection 🤟

Artists - Various

Genre - Ballroom Dancing

You weren't joking @Full Range that's almost four dozen! That's some kind of a collection that you have.

Nice half-speed @dirtmudd his regular lps sound good, know that one does.

Win10 doing a BIG update tonight. It's stuck at 8% think it's gonna crash.

Believe it or not I had 3 times as many dance LPs

Went through the collection a couple of years ago and donated them to the local church charity

Kept the best - Culled the LPs that were similar and slightly damaged
