Amen! Foreigner and Journey are two of the worst bands ever! I’m damned if I understand how the kids today will still listen to Journey. No accounting for tastes I suppose.

What should I do with the Journey and Foriener lps I inherited?

Donate them to a charity

But check their value first - You never know ? Those 90s Kids may pay big money for them

Someone’s junk is another’s treasure and all that

 Like that LP John?

Dude. It's nice now-a-days you can use youtube to test drive it before you buy it!

This is a masterpiece of trippin' psychedelic sound with texture. From the stoned Beatles music (their late works) to Floyds "Bicycle" and the like I am reminded of that and more here, plus side one has kind of a circus vibe to it.

Don't like their politics, but hey I'm alive in 2019 so.....  have to overlook that if I want to listen to anything.

"How high does your rocket fly?"

I had almost twenty on a card from the used record store here. Talked to one of the cool employees there last month about them playing Asheville a couple weeks ago.... he's a salesman, got a copy of their new one in and I snagged it.

Only thing that would make this better is if my cassette deck worked right again. This music needs to be a non-stop trip. Prog-heads should rejoice with these guys on the scene now!

...And the folks that rag on the sound quality of cassettes?  RTFM. Use a good tape. You should've, could've, would've made excellent recordings like so many have with ease!

*Foreigner had three pretty good lightweight records, Journey was girl music just like those girl movies.

Pink Floyd's song "Bike":

On "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn"! SYD BARRETT'S Pink Floyd!!

I KNOW my Pink Floyd! Back in high school I used to say "I own every Pink Floyd album up to and including DSOTM!"

As far as the TrashRock (Classic Rock) of the early 1980's Kansas was not completely horrible like Foreigner or Journey! The decrepit Rock Musical direction of the late 1970's NECESSITATED Punk Rock! I KNOW! I was THERE!! I was 18 in 1978, just graduated high school!

The Damned's "New Rose" was actually released BEFORE "God Save The Queen" by the Sex Pistols!

it depends on how much Viagra you use...

Viagra's a pill for WEENIES!! Double entendre INTENDED!!

I have MS and ED secondary to MS, and Viagra did nothing for my ED, so I turned to Prostaglandin INJECTIONS! Yes right into the blood chambers IN THE PENIS! And it WORKS! For HOURS sometimes! With NO stimulation like I was 12 again! Only BETTER!

But I did see Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child and placed it on my watch list

Just love playing LPs when light rain is falling

Another one sent by Mike

The album I’m spinning now could be called melodic rock

Nice and uplifting listening to this album

Opening for Rush in 1977  - Tower Theatre PA

Artist - Cheap Trick

Title - In Color

Would loved to have seen that tour. Either that year or the next was my first show.... Kansas touring for that record I posted the other night. Saw Cheap Trick in the late 80s in a place that held 200 tops. Gawd, they blew that roof off. And their theatrics set for the huge arenas was kinda neat when the band was ten feet away. They were out of their prime....... but still a very tight, cohesive band with too much power in a small venue!

Now you get outta my head Dave! <_<I do know what's coming. It's been obvious since game 1 this round. Boston plays the same game as us mostly. Checking and fast, only they're better at it. I'll have to pull for the West in the final, but my birthday won't be as nice as it was in 2006 in I don't know how much longer!
