@dirtmuddRobert Fripp is a musical genius, thanks for the tip, I have to look quickly where I can buy them in Germany. 109.gif

And Brian Eno, formerly Roxy Music, and then of course as a solo artist is a well known name to me

Re - Brian Eno

Don’t forget Phil Manzanera and Francis Monkman on keyboards with Simon Phillips on drums and the amazing Lloyd Watson on guitar

May I suggest you listen to the album 801 Live

Its one if not my favourite live albums

We can call it what ever we want..

when the need arrives...

just keep spinning and posting !

Gabriel 2 or scratch.. Some like to say .. It's Peter's most creative .. After leaving Genesis... And the hardest to enjoy..

But most Gabriel fans love it !

as you are well aware...

we are on the road to red.

and all things crimson....

I have an videocall appointment in 20 minutes

But just finished spinning the 801 LP just in time

One of the best live records from ex Roxy Music members that formed an interim band to pass away the time that lasted a handful of concerts

But the material left behind is just incredible

Artist - 801

Title - 801 Live

Today I also heard only one record... because I have to prepare for work.

From right down I-85 two hours in

Funk Rock Georgia !!

Opened for Aerosmith, Foghat, Ted Nugent several times back in the late 70s.

Great band to warm us all up for the headliners!

They do a fantastic "Magic Carpet Ride"

Wow that phrase must have come to the surface but I’m not sure when it was was first used - probably in the 60s ?

my brother

Tears of joy at the birth of a brother
Never alone from that time
Sixteen Years through knife fights and danger
Strangely why his life not mine

West side skyline crying
Fallen angel dying
Risk a life to make a dime

Lifetimes spent on the streets of a city
Make us the people we are
Switchblade stings in one tenth of a moment
Better get back to the car

Snow white side streets of cold New York City
Stained with his blood it all went wrong
Sick and tired blue wicked and wild
God only knows for how long

Fallen angel
Fallen angel
West side skyline
Crying for an angel dying
Life expiring in the city
Fallen angel...

Sat down a while ago and something John Lennon's son said the other day brought me to his new band. In a moment of exhilaration & joy after several hours of anxiousness here today the Claypool Lennon Delirium flat-out rejuvenated me!

You know the drill, turn it up until you feel it, then two notches more.   nod.gif
