Vinyl - Record Spinning

Full Range

Slipped back out into the garage this afternoon to catch my pretty lil blonde USPS carrier outta the truck and putting a box full of LP's in my office chair.  She was as shocked to see me coming out of the house as I was seeing her putting the box in the chair.  We both started laffin.  I've always told her to NEVER get outta the truck because then people expect you to all the time.  Yup, busted and we both started laffin.  Gonna be unzippin that new Rush 40th Anniversary box shortly!   :)

Wow None Better!

If it's those DMM'd mastered you will love the imaging that is beyond what you're used to from your LS!

A great way to start a Sunday is  listening to records

This next one is a debut album from 1970 -  the album is considered to be the start of heavy metal

My favourite track from this album is Warning

Artist- Black Sabbath

Title - Self Title

I recently purchased this album new / sealed

It’s a UK gatefold re-issue 180gr from 2015

And for the fans - the SQ is very good and to my ears is mastered well

Off to the headphones with my shot of EC.

Way I'm feeling about these ELPs think I'll clean up some Moody Blues tomorrow.

It all sounds so much better on my recent incarnation of a stereo!

I found this album hiding in amongst the very old records that hardly see daylight

So I thought why not give it a spin

It’s a famous musical that I’m sure everyone knows

Artist - Mary Martin, Ezio Pinza, Richard Rodgers / Oscar Hammerstein 2nd*
Title  ‎– South Pacific With The Original Broadway Cast

This record from 1957 may be the oldest on my collection

Hi ya fellas,

I notice that you all continue to have a lot of joy, fun and exchange in this thread. It's a pity that I don't have much time at the moment to dedicate to my beloved hobby. It is summer in Europe, we spend most of our free time outdoors now and enjoy the beauty of nature. In addition, I have to take care of the really very large garden around our house and our pool in my free time. Who of you owns a pool knows a lot of work that is, despite all the pumps and filter systems.

We have also been to the coast in the Netherlands and had some wonderful days there. The Netherlands is our direct neighbour and the North Sea coast is only 3 hours drive away. I just wanted to let you know that everything is fine. I read here regularly, even if I do not always want to comment everything.

As soon as I listen to records again you will be there. When I have time to listen to music, my Marantz NA 8005 network player runs, mostly I only listen to "groovin Lounge style summer music ". I think of you, see you soon

Was able to clean some today.. still am.

Excellent harmonies, good music.... for me it's dated a bit

These guys have an interesting record here, country, some stanzas I have heard elsewhere in southern rock... ahem. Fiddles, horns, there's a sax in the works here too! Mercedes is on the end of side one.

This one's a keeper it has a different "feel" to it still got the lot I pictured here earlier to go through.

Changed gears, one by this guy came with the delivery.

Almost as nice as his LPs with Bob James are:

Earl Klugh

Al has a different way with the guitar and I haven't heard any of his stuff in decades. Some of the techniques used, elements of, style of his playing are reminiscent of some of Jeff Beck's recordings that I listen to on a more regular basis.
