I am enjoying listening to Ekseption 👌 Thanks for the introduction

I had a Mercedes 280E - W115 - my wife’s car back in the day

Then she wanted a car with a sunroof - so we traded it in for a BMW 520I with a hard metal sunroof 😎

My father owned a 280 SE 3,5  convertable in  blue metallic colour and grey leather interieur . It was a brilliant vehicle.

Good evening everyone (morning to you Paul!)  I am once again over in RTM and wanted to listen to this album suggested by you in FULL tonight.  So, just into the 3rd track and enjoying via Spotify premium streamed via Marantz AVR  with the laptop as a remote control and into the Parasound and Martin Logans....   Nice !  🍷DSCN2904.jpg

The Saturday evenings are way different than they used to be, but at some point always there were good tunes.

Before I left, on the way there, when I stopped to get whoever or getting to wherever we were going.

A favorite burger/chili joint in the early 80s played the laid back music of Carlos Santana or this guy frequently. Not just hits, but the whole albums, not sure if muzac did that back then, but this place did! I still equate hearing Van Morrison with huge and great five inch tall medium well hamburgers from Lupie's Cafe! If you're ever here and close to downtown try to find this place! It's not fancy, it's good.

More cool tunes there @sputnik.

I'm headed the other way with this record.

* I'll take that back here is another Southern Rocker that interjects almost jazzy interludes in their tunes, third one in there is a light airy piano solo that is really nice

The Allman Bros. aren't on this one but Chuck Leavell is on most of these.. and the sound is very familiar to Southern Rock fans.

Just finished listening to Milt Jackson and put the jazz away for a while and playing an old Flairck album (Variations on a Lady) to wake up, keep the vibes theme going, and return to the earlier Dutch band theme at the same time.

So I thought why not have a record marathon 😎

Today I decided to play all my  Marillion LPs

David Ian "Joe" Jackson (born 11 August 1954) is an English musician and singer-songwriter. Having spent years studying music and playing clubs, Jackson scored a hit with his first release, "Is She Really Going Out with Him?", in 1979. This was followed by a number of new wave singles before he moved to more jazz-inflected pop music and had a Top 10 hit in 1982 with "Steppin' Out". He is associated with the 1980s Second British Invasion of the US. He has also composed classical music. He has recorded 19 studio albums and received 5 Grammy Award nominations.

Hello record listeners!

I'm a little over a month early from when I usually hear what's on the first side of this one and over six months early from what's on side 2.

There are a lot of stanzas that could be used for a phone alarm on this record!
