Am I good to you or what 😎

Yep.

You're the godfather of the Vinyl Thread my friend!

"Starting an analogue listening thread

Because Klipsch and records go hand in hand I thought it would be appropriate for a dedicated record spinning thread"

Did someone say that ABBA is back and entertaining a new generation again in 2020/2021

A great album and very popular in Australia

Artist - ABBA

Title Arrival

Album ID https://www.discogs.com/ABBA-Arrival/release/3719319

A side note - The Australian release is highly prised because it has the track Fernando

It was a huge hit here and followed suit elsewhere

I didn´t listen to "Voyage" yet, but they came up with these "Abbatars":

Abba 2021

Abba Voyage

Has someone seen the video yet, what´s the obvious connection to "Tron" here? Or is just coincidence?

Someone suggest that I post in the Vinyl section....

Out of the best Recording and Mastering Studios in the World

with a bevy of World Class Musicians and Studio Musicians

Country Song Bird Lorrie Morgan, Nashville, TN

I try to have a little bit of everything, still waiting to score my first  Bag-pipes or Bob Marly, so I have est 200 Country.

Part of a collection from a friend ......

Leave the Light ON

1989 vinyl pressing, high quality everything

Only Country could deliver these Lyrics

[Chorus]
There was once a raging love
On the far side of the bed
Where just touching was enough
To ease this pain inside my head
Now I can turn back the time
And I cannot raise the dead
And love is just a favorite memory
On the far side of the bed

@Bubo  I´ve been in Chicago once , early 1990tees for some business resaon ...was surprised at the beauty of the outer districts, but the city center I found not so beautiful..long ago , think that is different today

Where in Germany ?

I spent plenty if time in Germany

and lived in Italy for a few years.

Chicago Metro (200 est cities and towns) is about 50 miles long and 30 miles wide

I believe the Commuter rail system is 1,800 passenger cars to go in and out of the City, City has a separate metro system.

Chicago is literally the rail hub of N. America

Busiest airport in the World (unless something changed)

I use to fly direct to Frankfort and Munich all the time.

Sadly, large parts of The City of Chicago, have been transformed into a war zone, with various criminal gangs literally shooting it out for control of drug territories. I should leave it here on this forum.

I don't go down there

My town is approx 30 miles west of the Lake

and we have plenty of good restaurants in this area.

Ruhrgebiet

For such an important area,

I would have expected at least 7 or 8 syllables ....

Brought back a childhood memory

we had a friend who's father was an importer

and imported maybe 100 cases of this beer.

Wrong bottles or labels or something, so they could not sell it.

Our friend asked if we wanted it, otherwise they would have to destroy the shipment.

Not being one for waste, we said YES !

This brand is certainly one of the traditional brands of the old Ruhr area in the 1960s and 70s when the Ruhr area was still the mining and steel industry (KRUPP) were based. Unfortunately, this brand no longer exists
