Good evening once again, Sunday evening here, and though I have to work tomorrow, as promised, finishing up the Steve Hackett LIVE from Royal Albert Hall 2013 remastered on 3 vinyl discs.  Here, side #5 ready to go on the P6 🍷IMG-2169.jpg

Old Michael walked past the pet shop, which was never open, into the park, which was never closed, and seen the park was very green and very clean and very smooth, he took off all his clothes and began to rub his body into the clean, wet, green grass. He accompanied himself with a little tune - it went like this." "Beneath the ground, the creatures below commonly to us as 'worms' interpreted the pitter-patter from above as rainfall. Rainfall means two things: mating, bath-time. They enjoyed both... simultaneously. Within seconds, the entire clean, green, smooth surface of the park was a mass of dirty, brown, writhing objects." "Old Michael continued to rub his flesh into the ground. This time he looked even happier and he whistled a little tune - it went like this.

This to us was perhaps Jerusalem Boogie. But to the birds it meant 'Supper is Ready !

Suppers Ready is the most incredible love song ever!

It's basically about 2 lovers that are separated during the rapture..

And waiting for the second coming of Christ..

Then reunited to witness the Apocalypse...

And there's an Angel wait in the sun... Where the return to promise land...

Last week I posted Genesis Seconds Out

I made the comment that Steve Hackett was muted in the final mixing

So with that in mind I searched for the best release

Long story short

Found and purchased a half speed remaster and as a bonus it is signed by Steve Hackett

Now I have 3 pressings of Seconds Out in the collection

Will play it and compare then post the results when time permits

Good evening Vinyl Brethren,

It's been some time since I navigated these waters.

Starting out with a 1962 Vitaphonic Stereo recording by Warner Brothers.

Music Made Famous By Glenn Miller.

With Tex Beneke, Ray Eberle, The Monernaires, with Paula Kelly.

Recorded Live at the Sands Hotel, Casbar Theater.

Cheers!

Welllllll, I've been into my pile here so will have to get some posted.  Sneaking over to the turntable a bit but not as much as usual.  lol

Saw the burn doc today and I'm not back for two weeks now.  Toes are looking a lot batter overall but that pinky isn't looking good.  They said those pinky toes are tough to heal so we'll see what tricks they have up their sleeves.

Glad to hear you're outta there and feeling better George.  Take it easy now.  As if  :)
