Well this stupid thing needs parts. Not just a steuerpimple. Part of the single/multi assembly is broken. No luck on eBay or typical parts sources. I guess it’s gonna go on a shelf until I find parts or buy a parts table. I knew better than getting another Dual. Bleh.

You're feet are about as appealing as that butt crack brother!  😂

You got the Dual?  I'm trying to remember so they can get w/CWO up to speed w/his so I don't have to sell him my TD-160 that's been sitting here collecting dust for years.  lol

I don´t hide my weaknesses, haha 🤣

Yes, that´s my 601, my other is a 1218. Plus: I´ve got a 1229 and a 1214 in storage. Both have to be serviced first, before they spin again. I might give the 1214 away though, as it´s the smallest of them all with the least sophisticated arm...

I need parts for the single/multi system at the bearing end of the tonearm. It’s a 1249. I have a couple other tables too so it’s not urgent, but it seems crazy to spend $60 for a tiny plastic part. I did find a possible source.

Thanks @AndreG. and @Dave1291

Ah, the liftpiece (Hubstück)... Yes, there are 3D-prints aviable. If that one´s broken, You should also look at 242, which often is dry and hardened rubber, not flexible. If this is the case, and one "forces" the multiselector (single/multi-play switch), the liftpiece cracks...

And while You look at 242, also look out for the two metal balls (243) that go with it:

The rubberring (242) can be replaced with a piece of cut-to-fit piece of silicone hose of same length and thickness.

Here are the part lists:

Crazy money for the 3D print though. Thanks for the knowledge. I can easily get the ring and balls.

Look for a Wega 3420 Model with a Dual 1229 friction wheel drive , they were one of the best tt´s built by Dual ever.
