Throwin a few down this evening.  Been a minute and in the mood

September 1969, by Apple Records. It is the last album the group recorded,[2] although Let It Be (1970) was the last album completed before the band's break-up in April 1970.[3] It was mostly recorded in April, July, and August 1969, and topped the record charts in both the United States and the United Kingdom. A double A-side single from the album, "Something" / "Come Together", was released in October, which also topped the charts in the US.

Abbey Road incorporates styles such as rock, pop, blues, and progressive rock,[4] and makes prominent use of the Moog synthesiser and guitar played through a Leslie speaker unit. It is also notable for having a long medley of songs on side two that have subsequently been covered as one suite by other notable artists. The album was recorded in a more collegial atmosphere than the Get Back / Let It Be sessions earlier in the year, but there were still significant confrontations within the band, particularly over Paul McCartney's song "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", and John Lennon did not perform on several tracks. By the time the album was released, Lennon had left the group, though this was not publicly announced until McCartney also quit the following year.

The album was released on June 15, 1970, by Capitol Records. Recorded at Cleveland Recording Company, the album was produced by Terry Knight. This album reached RIAA gold record status in 1970, making it the group's third gold record in one year. The album's inside artwork shows a live photo of the band performing at Madison Square Garden in February 1970.

Live Bullet

Mike,

You have me on every one of your selections, especially Live Bullet.

Easily in my top 10 live albums!

Then I thought, how could all this FANTASTIC musical taste come from a guy listening to The Experience.

I remember when Joe's head didn't look so... big.  😉

Keep em coming!

My table needed service took me 6 years to get it done..

I started out with only a hand full of vinyl when @Full Range started this thread.

Still not happy with the results of my table..

From a well known tech . What i sent wasn't what i got back . Only the service provided.

But i continued to buy vinyl of what i liked and just trashed my cds..

Now im just spinning vinyl again .. just my buying habits have changed wish i never got rid of my vinyl in the mid 80s.

Im around 500+ at this time still waiting to spin.
