Supposedly it was a message, or reaction to a label that he did not want to own, but ironically it fills that bill. Parody maybe, but the ironic parody that reinforces the initial impression of Tull being more than just conventional rock. The more they strayed from the prog they refused to identify with, the less popular and acclaimed they became. Anderson was adamant about the jacket and the insert for it.
