Vinyl - Record Spinning

Full Range

Recommended Posts

One of my favorite bands.  I'll go see them any time.

I am sure this has been cover to death ... but I am gonna ask

I have some 78's.  How good can I expect them to sound?

somewhere w/i the family is a record my dad and two of his sisters cut.

ruminescing -- sorry

And the wear on the vinyl is less this way!

A lighter touch on more of the wall's surface does itB)

For you that love the Live stuff 2010 sans Lowell George obviously:

Listening to waiting for Columbus...sounds as fresh..

As it did when recorded in 78....

Thanks John !

Sounds interesting. The 78's should sound alright depending on their quality physically and how recorded. A lot of TT's do not have 78 anymore but, depending on the needle worth a try. They make dedicated 78 stylus but, you could carefully try, if you want to.(Thinking you know all of that)

Cool...I hope,lol

Think that may be the case. Some like the 45's as they perceive(real) to sound better. Interesting.

Let know if you try it, if you want.

Just like analog reel to reel... Recorded in different

Speeds... As with playback....

Have feelers out on TT's but no response. Like a deal and a bargain but, right now am just going with my Technics TT as it is sufficing.

Have learned a lot from my research, I hope. Playing some 45's that I have here when I get setup again just for hoots. Really thinking of

doing the goo solution on my collection of keepers.

Hope to get a TT local, as in, not Tampa, Orland, or Jax. Like a good roadtrip but, really like picking up more than one item. Did find a

Music Hall MMF-1 that looks nice and trouble free, as in more modern.

Sorry, I am not hip. Could you elaborate? Please:blush:

Go to Discogs and join https://www.discogs.com/my ( use same name if you like )

Then add your records , tapes, CDs to the collection

One can also buy and sell and see how much ones collection is worth based on condition ect
