He was pretty much one of a kind. We saw him at Memphis in May probably 10 years ago and a couple of times after that. Very frail looking and had to be led to the stage so he wouldn't trip on wires, etc.  Once he got there though-he still rocked that old big guitar of his. Hwy 61 will always be his-to me at least.

My Rush post above is a hint hint that with luck 3 UK 1st press Rush LPs may be coming my way ( fingers crossed )

1) Signals
2) Moving Pictures
3) A Farewell To Kings

I blame Mike with his Rush posts
Have listened to all Rush albums - however in my opinion the 3 in the above list were to my liking and best based on my assessment sessions

And on another update
I have secured the Marillion B Sides LP

I liked Hemispheres

But I wanted 3 albums that encompasses an era

As a person that had very little knowledge of Rush and looking now as a critic I chose the 3

Hemispheres is actually very similar to - A Farewell To Kings & a little bit like dream theatre ?

But A Farewell To Kings ticked my boxes as a better album

Just me picking one album over another - doesn’t mean that Hemispheres is bad because it’s not

Very simple hemispheres is the last rush album..

Where they push the limits.... After that they were writing shorter and concise music ... And scored

With moving pictures.....
