Nice Mike,

So what's the deal with the single 33s turned into double 45s. Novelty?

Or something like more length of groove per song so better sound.

Having a belt drive now as opposed to the direct that I was so used to for all those years it seems like a hassle to change pulleys for  the other speed.

 

Plus my 45 of "the Streak" is scuffed up pretty bad.

I’m now slipping into my Jazz phase 

So over the next play / spin period I will play Jazz 

@Tigerman  appreciation time 

 

First up a briliant album by a master of the craft 

This album is Columbia Jazz Masterpieces release 

SQ is fantastic

I am bringing out a lesser known artists 

Genre is traditional Jazz 

Don’t think many would recognise this artist ( except for diehard jazz fans ) 

 

I tend to favour Jazz with clarinet and this album has great clarinet sections 

 

@Tigerman are you familiar with - 

 

Artist - Bix Beiderbecke 

Title - Bix Beiderbecke and the Chicago Cornets 

Album ID M-47019 on Milestone Records 2 LP set
