Let’s just say that it’s a personal preference what band is better than the other

No harm in a little *** for tat 🤪

For me it’s the softer more subtle songs that I prefer - be it Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath

They define the depth of a bands talent

Should have gotten Fosters again FR...may play some Heep...Icehouse only gets you down the road and poops me...out.

Maybe I'll play Out In The Woods again...and have a proper smoke instead of these Sweets...and a proper drinky poo...

My preferred beer style is the Bitter beers or Dark ales

Most beers today are just to refined

But a great beer if you can get it is

Stone & Wood - Pacific Ale

Will look for it, meanwhile I like a Guinness, but actually prefer their stout, now at least in days gone, talking yeast and all the sediment involved in the brewing process...yummy and healthy B vitamin for my stamina...lol  Guess we were mostly drinking at late to eat, at times. Also Harp for a lighter yet very hearty beer. Room mate was a Brewer so, got spoiled///at times.

Meanwhile DP next up...

@billybob - I like Uriah Heep myself

That beer I mentioned is unfiltered and tastes half way between a bitter and stout

I could handle that nicely. Of course, I can handle most beers, if given to me. A brother was in post-war Japan. Not certain he was ever stationed in Britain but, he sometime buried premium beer in the shade. Wanting a beer at times without, would kick a bottle or 2 up...

He was a natural hoot, and a decent brother cause while we were talking, he would show me where and how to get my kick in...

@Dave1290...did you see the old band the other night?

Nope, just another bunch of old guys...  lol  :)  Great sitting back listening to them as young guys though isn't it?   Just saw Nick Mason's doing a Saucerfull tour.  Checked seating in Cbus and just shook my head.  Less grief just sitting here listening to them!  They're making the bucks on the younger kids now since they seem to crave the shows their parents went to.  Yet they can't pull their pants up and listen to garbage all day long with their friends...  Such is life!

I really like this album because it has great Clarinet

A lovely mainstream jazz release that you can sit and listen to in contemplation while sipping on a brandy or wine

like @Tigerman

The ensemble also do a great job of the classic- Take Five

 Artist - Arne Domnérus

Featuring -  Bengt Hallberg, Georg Riedel, Egil Johansen + Lars Erstrand ‎

Title - Jazz At The Pawnshop

Going through some that I replaced recently. Hearing music you've known but only heard from the same lp for a long time, like through miles and miles of playback some surface noise and a few pops.

Then landing a deal on half speeds like I did a month ago. It's like a new world with it all being better.

Invisible Sun is very good on this copy!

Hmmmmm, sits back enjoying "Final Cut."  Yup, just grinning a bit...  :)

Make 'em mad
Make 'em sad
Make 'em add two and two
Make 'em me
Make 'em you
Make 'em do what you want them to
Make 'em laugh
Make 'em cry
Make 'em lay down and die

A bit of a treat for Jazz / Blues fans

Piano is the dominant instrument and those licks are worth stealing

I am spinning an album written as a memory of train journeys with his father

Artist - The Oscar Peterson Trio

Title - Night Train

My copy is a Verve recording made exclusively for World Record Club - Australia release from 1974

And they mixed up the record labels side 1 should be side 2 and vice versa

I know @Tigerman will enjoy this album
