oldtimer
70's rock was great. REO was not. I have no problem with the musicianship but their lyrics put me on the floor laughing for the high school perspective. 2

Gary Richrath was a guitarist that I appreciated and Alan Gratzer was just a solid drummer, and I appreciate that. as for their lyrics ... we all can't be as profound as: Let's spend the night together Now I need you more than ever Let's spend the night together Let's spend the night together Now I need you more than ever You know I'm smiling baby You need some guiding baby Now I need you more than ever Let's spend the night together Let's spend the night together now This doesn't happen to me ev'ryday (oh my) Let's spend the night together No excuses offered anyway (oh my) Let's spend the night together I'll satisfy your every need (every need) And I now know you will satisfy me Let's spend the night together Now I need you more than ever Let's spend the night together now

Dave1290
That ONE song prolly made the Stones more money than ALL of REO's put together. Just a thought... Grabbed a couple Queen albums earlier then gave up. News of the World was their 6th studio album released in 1977. Then their debut album from 1973.. Warmin up the tubes but don't know what's gonna happen. Ugh!
