Bugger - it’s always the way when you look at it in hindsight 😎

And if you waited - it may not have come for another 2 years

P.S - I love all my Alice Cooper albums

Just to play something different and new to the lps here:

early 70s folk-rock I think it's called, dude's got a rock solid voice with a mid-west tinge on it and interesting lyrics

Got troubles here tonight. Lightning popping a lot in the last hour, turned the ac up to 83 so it wouldn't come on soon, turned John Wick off set it to record to save the tv if it gets close.

But the problem really is duplicates. Duplicates of a couple that are favorites of millions all over the place. A close to or maybe original DECCA pressing of one that is seriously scratched from looking at it, but sometimes if you can't feel them they do sound good. Flipped the switch on my protector to keep extra current from getting to my rig, so no comparisons for a little while at least.

My take is

Keep the best sounding and best condition album for playing

The other can be framed for display as special LP frames are now more available

Or send them to me and I will buy ...lol...cold hard cash... maybe.

Remember, I have the linear table...

The Decca one is so rough I took my needle off of it quick, the Fragile with the lighter blue around the planet is an older catalog version and it's not too bad at all, got an extra Yes Album too now. What I got a couple weeks ago was the last of my brother's friends collection. PM me bud!

Jim Croce was great.  It’s really sad that he was forgotten so soon.

I've never forgotten that particular song... and it wasn't a good pick for the strong voice I talked about but you probably know when he dips into baritone territory he could belt `em out!
