Priest were very close to a heavy progressive rock band at that time. The emotion conveyed by their more calm, quiet (almost) songs is impressive. Along with Rob's impressive falsetto.

I think it´s a fair mix that I got. This one was rather rough, sadly. Just washed it a second time, but I´m not optimistic about it, it may have to go... But now there´ s another band from the same era:
Jhakobe
I usually save an unopened album to enjoy on the solstice, along with a big beer or a special bourbon. Last night was Khruangbin’s Mordechai (and a nice imperial stout). Cheers to longer days…after we endure the freezing cold and some of us dig out from snow drifts. https://youtu.be/wPn-iV7ds0I

JohnJ
Love the jazz you posted @MicroMara, GRP is hitting me good right now. Changed cables for the last time on the pc. Dual-Triple Geometry AQ Rocket 33s now. And with my motto: "Don't tell me my cabling is snake oil unless you've made direct comparisons yourself and couldn't discern the difference." And if you can't?.... "Why you need Klipsch Willis?" YES, they are better! 1

Dave1291
That's it @AndreG! First I'm walking around w/a briefcase full of sand and a bucket. Now you're throwin down some Gary Moore? Good idea! Just made me want a lil of this guy. "Wired" is Jeff Beck's third from 1976. Carry on! 3
