A friend of mine from work is using this and says it it really easy to set up and use. I just need to scrounge up a small usb flash drive to try it out.

I suppose, since I've not been into this sort of thing that someone here has already talked about it until it has faded into the background, but I think it's pretty cool.

This is one that I missed... might be an interesting use of an old netbook with ATOM processor.  That thing isn't good for much else.

I have, many times. I have a USB interface for my DAW. Sounds great!

The horror.  the horror!

On second thought, maybe I could start peddling audiophile USB cables.  Made from the spun gold pubic hairs of vestal virgins,  wrapped in die-electrical monogrammaphoned sheathing of polyglot hetrodones.

Coulda sworn that all the guitars I ever saw plugged into an amp were balanced. XLR's I think they call them.

Manly lookin. Tthose USB thingy's look a bit girly to my eye.

Streaming's for people with bladder control issues.

I'm thinking of changing my sig to the above sentence.

I know you are smarter than this glib smart aleck lip...

While here are some exceptions, the majority use 1/4 inch phone plugs on an unbalanced cable.

Probably got it confused with the cables they use for mike's.

Yes, pro microphones use XLRs.

Not really offended, so don't worry about it. ;)
