A "Jim Dandy" brand bought in Flint, MI in the late 70's.......so, probably not.

My favorite hammer is one I got from my dad, I used it to build our house, I don't know how old it is but the brand is Rocket, made by Tru Temper. Just one of the old tools made right that never seem to break.

Don't ever lose your Temper Elden.

I still have and use tools my father and grandfather used.

I will do my best to not lose it, I have a bunch of tools from my dad, he could fix anything.

This is way OT, but are you old enough to remember Jodina's (sp?) Rockets on Vine Street -- I think? As I recall, it was south of Wyoming, south of the Vogue theater and Kleespie's Oldsmobile.  I moved away from Wyoming/Cincinnati in the early 60s, so I'd be surprised if you heard of them.  The subs from that place were amazing.

While I had the main 200a breaker turned off I removed all of the wire from the outlet all the way to the breaker itself. I left the breaker inside the panel and just marked it "available".

Just curious, is this an older home? Is the electrical updated? Most older houses don't have 200 amp service connections, at least around here. It's usually a sign it's been updated.

Well, it was built in the early 50's. When I moved in there were the older screw-in fuses with a total of about 80amps. About 15-years ago we hired someone (who gave us a helluva good deal) on putting in a 200amp panel. After he was done, I went through the house to make sure all of the outlets were grounded (most weren't) and took care of that. But he kept the old wiring and connected it to the new panel if it was in good shape. We now use our stove with propane (Hank Hill would be proud) and just never did anything to that old 40a 220v outlet, till now. This weekend, my grandson and I are putting in new baseboards in the kitchen.
