coramdeo
I just purchased a #118587 sub woofer with a set of Quintet speakers and I have no idea how to hook it up the sub woofer. My previous sub used a single RCA cable. Edited March 27, 2017 by coramdeo

Older receivers didn't have an RCA output for bass. You could run speaker wires to the sub for the signal.

Any help is greatly appreciated. The level is similar to a volume knob. Use it to achieve the same level as your mains. The low pass knop lets all frequencies below the set point to be reproduced by your sub. If your mains will go down to 70Hz, put the knob on 70 Hz so both the mains and sub aren't reproducing the same frequencies. You can get this close then experiment up and down and see what sounds best. Auto and on are choices on how you want the sub to turn on. On is always on and auto wakes it up when it senses a signal. Phase should be set at 0 if your mains and sub are on the same plane (wall).
