bwakula
I have a pair of Cornwall II's in great condition- raw birch. I just purchased a set of risers from Crites for them and installed just to see how they would look. As I suspected, they look awesome. However, the risers are white pine and my Cornwalls are birch. Anyone have a suggestion as to the color of stain or type of stain or oil I could use on the risers to match the Cornwalls? I looked around on the forum and found nothing. Many topics about refinishing or staining, but nothing in rgerads to what I am looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Mighty Favog
There is raw birch veneer, you could cut and glue that on them. Not sure how wide it is.https://www.lowes.com/pd/White-Birch-Veneer/3603330?cm_mmc=SCE_PLA-_-Millwork-_-ConstructionBoards-_-3603330:&CAWELAID=&kpid=3603330&CAGPSPN=pla&store_code=168&k_clickID=671ffee5-6fb1-4b27-a452-4528d883a10b
willland
Paint them black. Contrast looks great IMO. Like 70th Cornwall II's. Bill
bwakula
Great idea Bill- I'm going to stain them a darker shade. Not a huge fan of the black...
