George Carlin talked about this back in the 70s. I believe he used the term "piss shivers".

Post-Micturition Convulsion Syndrome

I have read of this and a possible why.  When one takes a pee, the body heat stored in it is leaving the building so to speak, the body detects a slight diminishment in body temperature, which could then induce a slight chill.  I have also read of the reason behind the sleep jerk explained, that I don't remember though.

Something about your body relaxing and your brain thinks it's falling or losing it's balance I think.

I'm afraid I have to go with this one....after all, who better to explain the shivers than the shiva?

That is only part of it though.  Why doesn't it happen to chicks?

I think chicks do experience that as well, they first get the shivers and complain when the seat is cold, then the next chill hits and they just wrap it up with the first one, they don't investigate the whys like men do and they are too busy thinking about what they are going to do once they get up, that they forget the whole thing entirely anyways.

Not only post of the year, but potentially the most accurate information posted on the internet (my experience anyway).

Women don't have prostates. That's my theory.

Next time you have to sneeze, see if you can simply exhale instead. That is an even better feeling, but might take some practice.
