Reisman
I have the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 THX model computer speakers - 2 desktop speakers and a large subwoofer. The sound quality is decent, but static (NOT HUM), just ambient static in the background, makes these highly annoying. Windows settings do not eliminate this, and the level of static increases or decreases with the hardware or software volume controls. Any suggestions and remedies would be most helpful. jvs1670
I recently changed the location of where I plug mine in and I developed static. I plugged into a power strip with a cheap lamp from walmart and I had a buzz through the speakers that was never there before for the last 5 years. I unplugged the lamp and all is well.
