stan461
Any recommendations for an integrated tube amp to power a pair of Churus I speakers. Also, would like to purchase a new unit. If possible. You guys are the experts! Thanks for any help.
Shiva
What is your priced range? Any tube integrated's that have already caught your eye?
jjptkd
There are a lot of variables to consider like what are you running as a source? Do you need phone inputs, built in DAC? How large is your room? Are you using a sub with the Chorus?

stan461
~ $2000. So far Rogue Sphinx looks good but no tubes for the amp section. 12au7 for the pre. I am hoping someone has 1st hand experience. I realize that Chorus sales were relatively modest. No sub, CD player, 20 X 25 room, no phono and mostly Classical music at modest levels. Piano music - very important. Edited April 14, 2017 by stan461 Forgot something.
pallpoul
Look at the PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium , I use one with my Chorus II's' and it sounds real good. I hade same result when I tried it with my Cornwall's III too.
stan461
Pallpoul - thank you. Have been researching and narrowed it down to Rogue Cronus Magnum II and Prima Luna Dialogue Premium. I like the build quality of the Prima Luna and their running the tubes a little lower. This might extend the length of the tubes as well as the amp. But Rogue also seems like the real with a 3 year warranty (2 yrs Prima Luna) and seemingly great (always available) tech support. So the edge goes toPrima Luna. Nothing like a 1st hand endoresement. Good news - it seems I can't go wrong with either.
