jwc
I've had these over 1 year I think. They look good for their age. They are stock except for the network. Alnico tweeters. I'm gonna buy some Forte III or KI-396. I'm out of room already....again. Wife and I want a pair of NEW speakers for the man cave. The network that was in them was an AA but had been butchered by the previous owner. He must have recapped everything or something and they sounded terrible. So they have a pair of the ALK Super AA through his exchange program. Work fine now. The tops on both are in great shape with no obvious flaws and the fronts are with minor flaws. That was the selling point for me. The sides with minor flaws. Now the riser.....more in the back had the usual veneer chipping I've seen on many Heritage. basically, this is from sliding around on the floor w/o picking them up. Fortunately, these have most of the chipping in the back. I opened up the bass bin on one and it does have the K33. I didn't open the other. Grill cloth is great and both have the cool striped logos. $2100 pair with nets and nets paperwork from ALK. Pickup only in Georgia 30116 You will have to help move. I will help some. There are no stairs. Carry distance about thirty feet at most. I will post pics of one.....then in a few days get the other jc
jwc
Ok...here is the first. So if you are facing the speaker ... a perspective. Go on the left side top hat, there is a little greenish stripe. I bet this will come off with some solution. It looks like some green tint that rubbed off another peice of firniture. It isn't a gash. The bottom front on the left has a little indention on the left/front/bottom edge. Now the top. In a couple of photos, there loos like the front/left/top has some curved looking abrasion. It isn't there. Somehow the grain there is picked up with the flash.
