Kain
I asked this question in one of my other threads but never got a response so thought I could try starting a thread on the topic. Basically, I want to know if I can use the JBL Pro SCS 8 speakers for ceiling speakers for Atmos/DTS:X with a Klipsch RF-7 III/RC-64 III based setup. My ceiling is concrete and cannot use in-ceiling speakers. The SCS 8 is often used for Atmos/DTS:X ceiling speaker duties in JBL Pro and JBL Synthesis setups. Could they work with a Klipsch setup? Will there be any major issues of timbre matching and other such issues? davecraze
Those are very nice Atmos speakers and would be fine. Also take a look at the Klipsch KPT-801 from the professional line.
