teaman
Sweet speakers. Can I ask why you are selling them so quickly? Tim
Moderators Youthman Posted June 14, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 14, 2017 Just now, teaman said: Can I ask why you are selling them so quickly? Beat ya to it. LOL I was wondering the same thing. I'll let him explain. They look awesome! You won't believe what he's using as computer speakers. I'm completely jealous.

Tim I was able to get RB-75s and they offer me a bit more versatility. I already had an amp so I decided to go for them. The Sixes are fantastic and I want to keep them, but I can't justify relegating them to bedroom duty where I may only turn them on once a month.
Moderators Youthman Posted June 14, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 14, 2017 Show em the pick of the desk bro. There is never such a thing as overkill when it comes to Klipsch owners. Best wishes with the sale.
Grizzog
Well...OK The 75s are a downsize for me. I originally had Quartets in my office, but I couldn't position them correctly. Moved to Heresy III and then decided I wanted bookshelf speakers so I could get them at the right height. The 75s are now on stands on the outside of the desk.
Moderators Youthman Posted June 14, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 14, 2017 Youthman tips his hat to you sir. Would absolutely love RB-75's for my office setup but I don't have the room for anything larger than Promedias.
teaman
Nice, I totally understand that dilemma. I have the Pro Media 2.1 on the desk... ....but also have an Emotiva XPA-2, XDA-2, ERC-3 and Infinity SM 150's in the same office....on one wall.....along the other wall I have a Sherbourn PT-7020C4, XPA-5 Panasonic Bluray hooked up to my KG-4's, KG 2.2's and a KLF-C7 with a Panny tv. Nothing like overkill! Tim
BlueHusky79
I want to have music in my bedroom as I had when age 11 to and through College? How would all rate sound from 75's I am only familiar with Forte II, Heresy I and III. Appreciate any suggestions from fellow forum members, please? Other half, prefers bookcase size speakers.Thank you in advance to all that offer suggestions for our possible speaker's .Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
dtr20
Yea, I could see how putting quartets on the desk would be difficult
thisgsx
How would you compare The Sixes to the 75's sound wise? Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
Grizzog
How would you compare The Sixes to the 75's sound wise? Sent from my LG-LS997 using TapatalkThey are very similar. The Sixes work better on a desk and seem to be less placement sensitive. The Sixes may be a tad smoother, and the 75s having a little more top-end detail due to the compression driver. I really like them and would like to keep them...but I can't justify these for my bedroom.

IMO, very well balanced but still has that aggressive edge. 52 minutes ago, BlueHusky79 said: Other half, prefers bookcase size speakers. That's if you can call a 32lbs speaker a bookshelf speaker. Bill I know what you mean, the RB-81's are nearly the size of my Heresies.
Grizzog
Anyone? These are amazing speakers and the best I've ever used on a desk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lost240
I think the problem is "No dings, dents, or scratches" Real Klipsch owners prefer a water ring of some sort on the top of their speakers.
opusk2k9
Great looking speakers at a great price. The best used price I have seen elsewhere is $650.
expat
Did you sell them yet? Since they're new to market, I imagine they're still under warranty?

Klipsch warranty's are non transferrable and are for the original owner only.
