Browning
I'm considering crossing over to the dark side. LOL Based on a very knowledgeable recommendation I'm looking hard at a pair of La Scalas as an upgrade to my home 2.1. How do these perform in a home environment in a modest sized room? I hold sound quality at a premium and am wondering generally how these units perform. Thanks in advance for your input!
JohnA
How small is modest?
Schu
More importantly, what speaker are you coming from?
willland
Browning, Welcome to the forum. Never heard a pair of La Scalas that were nothing short of fantastic. Small rooms and big rooms. Bill

Browning
I have completely outgrown my JBLs. I am running Emotiva gear including XSP-1 preamp, ERC-3 disc player, 2x XPA-2 amps each bridged to 1000w. Last piece of the puzzle is speakers and have heard marvelous things about the la scalas leading me here.
chriswhotakesphotos
Wow, 1000w with LaScalas! Be very gentle to the volume knob! They should sound good with emotiva though, I use Heresies with emotiva and really like it.
