Moderators Youthman Posted June 17, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 17, 2017 Just finished putting together a highlight video from InfoComm. Danley Demo room was awesome. Wish klipsch had consumer products at their booth but InfoComm is for the Professional market. https://youtu.be/eVIdW01ok5o
Moderators dtel Posted June 18, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2017 I wish klipsch would have had more of the pro stuff, like the new pro subs. Nice video Youthman, some great video screens and projectors, if you have a wheelbarrow full of money.
Moderators Youthman Posted June 18, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2017 Thanks dtel. By pro subs....what are you referring to?
Moderators dtel Posted June 18, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2017 The 1802 sub, and the not out yet 1502 sub. One 1802 sub replaced a friends pair of kpt 684 subs and killed them. That's one 18" sub replacing 4 18"subs, and it was not even close. ( although it is big) But the 1802 is a ported horn loaded sub, the first ever, so it was patented. http://www.klipsch.com/pro/cinema/cinema-subwoofers SPECIFICATIONS FREQUENCY RESPONSE1 (+/- 3 dB) 26Hz-240Hz +/- 3dB (-10dB @ 21Hz) POWER HANDLING2 1100 watts (71V) 4400 watts peak MAXIMUM SPL3 130 dB Continuous 136 dB Peak SENSITIVITY4 102dB NOMINAL IMPEDANCE 6 ohms (4.5 min. @ 100Hz) COMPONENTS One K-473 18” woofer with 4” voice coil INPUT CONNECTION Two point barrier strip ENCLOSURE MATERIAL 3/4" 7-ply plywood cabinet HEIGHT 48” (121.9cm) WIDTH 74” (188cm) DEPTH 31” (78.7cm) WEIGHT 330 lbs (150kg) ITEM NUMBER 1016560 Another great pro design speaker is the KI-396-SMA-II, great sound. Moderators Youthman Posted June 18, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2017 Gotcha. Unfortunately they had a KI speaker on display but I didn't hear them play it. Strangely they only had one of each speaker on display.
Moderators Youthman Posted June 18, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2017 They had one Ki speaker, several pendant speakers, in ceiling, sound bars and landscape speakers. No bit Pro speakers at all
Moderators dtel Posted June 18, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2017 That's strange, I thought this show was about pro, or at least the newest things out, but really I have no idea what it's about. I know they have some really good pro stuff.
Moderators Youthman Posted June 18, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2017 There were several Demo Rooms outside the expo hall (Danley, QSC, Yamaha etc) and they all had the Pro offerings you are referring to. Klipsch had a booth. Here is a high res photo Klipsch Professional posted
