Sub Repaired

Recommended Posts

I just had Frank at carversunfire@gmail.com do a rebuild on my Sunfire MKII sub.  Just got it back and it sounds fantastic!  I have it paired with a pair of Klipsch Heresy 1's I recapped and installed new tweeters from www.ctitesspeakers.com.  All in for less than a grand.

What was the cost of the repairs of the sub amp? I have a rw12 that needs work. Klipsch sent me to the shop that does out of date warranty work and they are on drugs for what they charge. I could buy I new one for the price they are asking

Check Edwards Electronics on e-bay.  They seem to be batting 1000 on repairs for forum members. (I'm not affiliated nor have I used them).

Looking to replace the auto on switch in my 308, Klipsch wants more then Im willing to spend. Any ideas on a more fiscally responsible way to repair/replace it?

Just got off the phone with Frank (carversunfire@gmail.com)  He's going to fix my Sunfire Sub Mark IV for $280.    I just have to take out the motherboard on the sub and mail it to him.  Pretty simple.... I'll update once I get it back and it's running again.  Thanks
