Trentster5172 Posted July 4, 2017 Share Posted July 4, 2017 Would you like to see the two channel overkill of the century using Heresy III's? Try two Heresy III's bi-amped to THREE amps!!! I hooked my Emotiva XSP-1 pre via XLR's to the Xilica XP-4080 and out to three amps! The two Emotiva XPA-1L mono-blocks are running each 12" woofer in the Heresy's. The Parasound A23 2 channel is on mids and highs. The Xilica was set to full bypass and crossover work was handled through the passives in the Heresy III's. They were sailing at 110 db and clear as could be! Emotiva XPA-1L, 250 watts x 1 @ 8ohms Parasound A23, 125 watts x 2 @ 8 ohms I did this the other day while waiting for my Jubilees to show up.
